Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us from Ash'ath ibn Abi al-Sha'tha' from his father from Aisha, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loved to begin with the right in all his affairs - in combing his hair, in his purification, and in putting on his sandal. Shu'bah said: I then asked him about that afterward, and he said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loved - or it pleased him - to begin with the right as much as he could.
