قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ مَوْلَى عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَمَرَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ أَنْ أَكْتُبَ لَهَا مُصْحَفًا قَالَتْ إِذَا بَلَغْتَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ فَآذِنِّي { حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى } قَالَ فَلَمَّا بَلَغْتُهَا آذَنْتُهَا فَأَمْلَتْ عَلَيَّ حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى وَصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَ ثُمَّ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from al-Qa'qa' ibn Hakim, from Abu Yunus, the freedman of Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: Aisha ordered me to write out a copy of the Qur'an for her. She said, "When you reach this verse, inform me": {Guard strictly the prayers, and the middle prayer.} He said: So when I reached it, I informed her, and she dictated to me: "Guard strictly the prayers, and the middle prayer, and the Asr prayer, and stand before Allah in devout obedience." Then she said, "I heard it from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him."
