حَدَّثَنَا قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَأَهْلَلْنَا بِعُمْرَةٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ فَلْيُهِلَّ بِالْحَجِّ مَعَ الْعُمْرَةِ ثُمَّ لَا يَحِلُّ حَتَّى يَحِلَّ مِنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا قَالَتْ فَقَدِمْتُ مَكَّةَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَلَمْ أَطُفْ بِالْبَيْتِ وَلَا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَشَكَوْتُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ انْقُضِي رَأْسَكِ وَامْتَشِطِي وَأَهِلِّي بِالْحَجِّ وَدَعِي الْعُمْرَةَ قَالَتْ فَفَعَلْتُ فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا الْحَجَّ أَرْسَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِى بَكْرٍ إِلَى التَّنْعِيمِ فَاعْتَمَرْتُ فَقَالَ هَذِهِ مَكَانُ عُمْرَتِكِ قَالَتْ فَطَافَ الَّذِينَ أَهَلُّوا بِالْعُمْرَةِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ثُمَّ حَلُّوا ثُمَّ طَافُوا طَوَافًا آخَرَ بَعْدَ أَنْ رَجَعُوا مِنْ مِنًى لِحَجِّهِمْ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ جَمَعُوا الْحَجَّ فَطَافُوا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا.

He told us: He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from Ibn Shihab - and Muhammad ibn Ja'far also told us this, he said: Malik told us, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Aisha, that she said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage, and we entered ihram for Umrah. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever has a sacrificial animal with him, let him enter ihram for Hajj along with the Umrah, and then he shall not exit ihram until he exits from both together." She said: So I arrived in Makkah while menstruating, and I did not perform tawaf of the House nor the sa'i between Safa and Marwah. I complained of that to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, "Undo your hair and comb it, and enter ihram for Hajj, and leave off the Umrah." She said: So I did that. Then when we had completed the Hajj, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent me with Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr to al-Tan'im, and I performed Umrah, and he said, "This is in place of your Umrah." She said: So those who had entered ihram for Umrah performed tawaf of the House and the sa'i between Safa and Marwah, then exited ihram, then performed another tawaf after they returned from Mina for their Hajj. As for those who combined the Hajj with Umrah, they performed only a single tawaf.
