Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar informed us, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, from Aishah, who said: "When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw a rain cloud, his face would change, and he would go in and out, come and go. Then when it cleared from him, and that was mentioned to him, he said: 'I was not sure it might not be as Allah said: Then, when they saw it as a cloud advancing towards their valleys, they said: this is a cloud bringing us rain -- rather it might bring a painful punishment.'"
