Aisha reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to take the pledge of allegiance from women only by speech, using this verse: "that they will not associate anything with Allah." And she said that his hand never touched the hand of a woman at all, except a woman he rightfully possessed.
