حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا الرَّضَاعَةُ مِنْ الْمَجَاعَةِ.

Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ash'ath ibn Abi al-Sha'tha', from his father, from Masruq, from A'ishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Suckling [that establishes milk-kinship] is only that which is from [severe] hunger."
