حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا كَهْمَسٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ جَاءَتْ فَتَاةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبِي زَوَّجَنِي ابْنَ أَخِيهِ يَرْفَعُ بِي خَسِيسَتَهُ فَجَعَلَ الْأَمْرَ إِلَيْهَا قَالَتْ فَإِنِّي قَدْ أَجَزْتُ مَا صَنَعَ أَبِي وَلَكِنْ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ تَعْلَمَ النِّسَاءُ أَنْ لَيْسَ لِلْآبَاءِ مِنْ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' narrated to us: Kahmas narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Buraydah, from A'ishah, who said: "A young woman came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, my father married me to his brother's son to raise his low standing through me.' So he left the matter to her [to decide]. She said: 'I have indeed approved what my father did, but I wanted women to know that fathers have no authority whatsoever in the matter [of marriage without consent].'"
