Affan told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us: Hammad informed us, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from Aisha, that a lizard was presented as a gift to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, but he did not eat it. Aisha said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, shall I feed it to the poor?' The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Do not feed them what you yourselves do not eat.'
