حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَدِمَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِلْيَةٌ مِنْ عِنْدِ النَّجَاشِيِّ أَهْدَاهَا لَهُ فِيهَا خَاتَمٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فِيهِ فَصٌّ حَبَشِيٌّ فَأَخَذَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعُودٍ بِبَعْضِ أَصَابِعِهِ مُعْرِضًا عَنْهُ ثُمَّ دَعَا أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ ابْنَةَ ابْنَتِهِ فَقَالَ تَحَلَّيْ بِهَذَا يَا بُنَيَّةُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ahmad ibn Abd al-Malik told us: Muhammad ibn Salamah told us, from Ibn Ishaq, from Yahya ibn Abbad, from his father Abbad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr, from A'ishah, who said: "An ornament arrived for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the Negus, a gift he had sent him, containing a gold ring set with an Abyssinian gemstone. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took it with a stick between some of his fingers, turning away from it, then called Umamah bint Abi al-As, daughter of his daughter, and said: 'Adorn yourself with this, O little daughter.'"
