حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ السَّلَام يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ الصُّفُوفَ وَمَنْ سَدَّ فُرْجَةً رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً.

Abu al-Yaman told us, saying Isma'il bin Ayyash told us, from Hisham bin Urwah, from his father, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Indeed Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and His angels, peace be upon them, send blessings upon those who join the rows in prayer, and whoever closes a gap, Allah raises him by it a degree.
