Abu al-Mughirah told us: al-Awza'i told us: Abu Ubayd told me: A'isha said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came in to me at Sarif when I had begun menstruating and I was bowed down. He said to me: "Have you menstruated?" I said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, and I do not think women were created except for calamity." He said: "No, but it is something that the daughters of Adam have been afflicted with."
