Husayn narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Mutarrif narrated to us, from Abu Hazim, from Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, that he heard Aishah say: A month after month would pass over us during which no fire was kindled in any of the houses of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. He said: I said, "O Aunt, on what then did you live?" She said, "On the two black things: dates and water."
