حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ كُنْتُ أَنَا وابْنُ عُمَرَ مُسْتَنِدَيْنِ إِلَى حُجْرَةِ عَائِشَةَ إِنَّا لَنَسْمَعُهَا تَسْتَنُّ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ اعْتَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَجَبٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ قُلْتُ يَا أُمَّتَاهُ مَا تَسْمَعِينَ مَا يَقُولُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَتْ مَا يَقُولُ قُلْتُ يَقُولُ اعْتَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَجَبٍ قَالَتْ يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ نَسِيَ مَا اعْتَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَجَبٍ قَالَ وَابْنُ عُمَرَ يَسْمَعُ فَمَا قَالَ لَا وَلَا نَعَمْ سَكَتَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aisha narrated that Urwah ibn al-Zubayr said: "Ibn Umar and I were leaning against the room of Aisha, and we could hear her brushing her teeth. I said: 'O Abu Abd al-Rahman, did the Prophet (peace be upon him) perform Umrah in Rajab?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'O mother, do you not hear what Abu Abd al-Rahman is saying?' She asked: 'What is he saying?' I said: 'He says the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed Umrah in Rajab.' She said: 'May Allah forgive Abu Abd al-Rahman. He has forgotten. The Prophet (peace be upon him) never performed Umrah in Rajab.' Ibn Umar heard this but said neither yes nor no - he remained silent."
