حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ بِنْتُ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْتِيهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَيَقُولُ أَصْبَحَ عِنْدَكُمْ شَيْءٌ تُطْعِمُونِيهِ فَتَقُولُ لَا مَا أَصْبَحَ عِنْدَنَا شَيْءٌ كَذَاكَ فَيَقُولُ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ ثُمَّ جَاءَهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَتْ أُهْدِيَتْ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ فَخَبَأْنَاهَا لَكَ قَالَ مَا هِيَ قَالَتْ حَيْسٌ قَالَ قَدْ أَصْبَحْتُ صَائِمًا فَأَكَلَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aisha reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to come to her while fasting and say: "Do you have anything to feed me?" She would say: "No, we have nothing." So he would say: "Then I am fasting." Then he came to her later and she said: "We were given a gift, and we saved it for you." He said: "What is it?" She said: "Hays (a mixture of dates, butter, and cheese)." He said: "I began the day fasting," but then he ate.
