حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا فَرَجُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قَرَظَةَ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خِيَارُكُمْ وَخِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ الَّذِينَ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَشِرَارُكُمْ وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَلَا نُقَاتِلُهُمْ قَالَ لَا مَا صَلَّوْا لَكُمْ الْخَمْسَ أَلَا وَمَنْ عَلَيْهِ وَالٍ فَرَآهُ يَأْتِي شَيْئًا مِنْ مَعَاصِي اللَّهِ فَلْيَكْرَهْ مَا أَتَى وَلَا تَنْزِعُوا يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَتِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yazid told us, saying: Faraj b. Fadalah informed us, from Rabi'ah b. Yazid, from Muslim b. Qarazah, from Awf b. Malik, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said, "The best of you and the best of your leaders are those whom you love and who love you, and for whom you pray and who pray for you; and the worst of you and the worst of your leaders are those whom you hate and who hate you, and whom you curse and who curse you." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, should we not fight them?" He said, "No, as long as they pray the five prayers with you. Indeed, whoever has a ruling authority over him and sees him committing something of disobedience to Allah, let him disapprove of what he commits, but do not withdraw a hand from his obedience."
