Harun told us, saying: Ibn Wahb told us, saying: Amr b. al-Harith told us, from Bukayr b. Abdullah, that Ya'qub, his brother, and Ibn Abi Hafsah told him, that Abdullah b. Yazid, the preacher of Maslamah in Constantinople, told them both, from Awf b. Malik al-Ashja'i, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say, "None should preach to the people except a commander, one who is commanded, or one who is conceited."
