حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ خَرَّ رِجَالٌ مِنْ قَامَتِهِمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ لِمَا بِهِمْ مِنْ الْخَصَاصَةِ وَهُمْ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الصُّفَّةِ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الْأَعْرَابُ إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ مَجَانِينُ فَإِذَا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلَاةَ انْصَرَفَ إِلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا لَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَأَحْبَبْتُمْ لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ تَزْدَادُونَ حَاجَةً وَفَاقَةً قَالَ فَضَالَةُ وَأَنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Abdur-Rahman al-Muqri' narrated to us: Haywah narrated to us, who said: Abu Hani' informed me, from Amr bin Malik, who narrated to him that he heard Fadalah bin Ubayd say: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led the people in prayer, men would collapse from standing during prayer due to the hardship and hunger they suffered, being among the People of the Bench, so that the bedouins would say: These are madmen. When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, finished the prayer he would turn to them and say: If you knew what awaits you with Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, you would love to have even more need and poverty. Fadalah said: And I was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that day.
