حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَجِبْتُ مِنْ قَضَاءِ اللَّهِ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ إِنَّ أَمْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ وَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ فَشَكَرَ كَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ فَصَبَرَ كَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdur-Rahman bin Mahdi narrated to us: Sulayman bin al-Mughirah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Layla, from Suhayb, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I marvel at the decree of Allah for the believer — indeed the affair of the believer is all good, and that applies to no one but the believer. If good befalls him he is grateful, and that is good for him; and if harm befalls him he is patient, and that is good for him.
