حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَحْنُ بِخَيْرٍ أَمْ مَنْ بَعْدَنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ أَنْفَقَ أَحَدُهُمْ أُحُدًا ذَهَبًا مَا بَلَغَ مُدَّ أَحَدِكُمْ وَلَا نَصِيفَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us: Bukayr ibn al-Ashajj narrated to us from Yusuf ibn Abdullah ibn Salam, that he said: He asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Are we better off, or those who come after us?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If one of them were to spend the equivalent of Uhud in gold, it would not reach the mudd of one of you, nor even half of it."
