حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجَعَهُ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَحْيَا وَأَمُوتُ وَإِذَا قَامَ قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَمَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It was narrated to us by Sulayman ibn Hayyan, who informed us: Sufyan, from Abdul-Malik ibn Umayr, from Rib'i ibn Hirash, from Hudhayfah, who said: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, took to his place of sleep, he would say: "O Allah, in Your name I live and die." And when he arose, he would say: "Praise be to Allah, who gave us life after having caused us to die, and unto Him is the resurrection."
