حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَقَامًا مَا تَرَكَ فِيهِ شَيْئًا يَكُونُ قَبْلَ السَّاعَةِ إِلَّا قَدْ ذَكَرَهُ حَفِظَهُ مَنْ حَفِظَهُ وَنَسِيَهُ مَنْ نَسِيَهُ إِنِّي لَأَرَى الشَّيْءَ فَأَذْكُرُهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُ الرَّجُلُ وَجْهَ الرَّجُلِ غَابَ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ رَآهُ فَعَرَفَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abd al-Razzaq told us, Sufyan informed us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Wa'il, from Hudhayfah, he said: "The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us in a gathering in which he did not leave out anything that would happen before the Hour but that he mentioned it - those who memorized it, memorized it, and those who forgot it, forgot it. I indeed see a thing and remember it, just as a man recognizes the face of a man who had been absent from him, then he sees him and recognizes him."
