حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ حُذَيْفَةَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمْسَكَ الْقَوْمُ ثُمَّ إِنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْطَاهُ فَأَعْطَى الْقَوْمُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ سَنَّ خَيْرًا فَاسْتُنَّ بِهِ كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرُهُ وَمِنْ أُجُورِ مَنْ يَتَّبِعُهُ غَيْرَ مُنْتَقِصٍ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا وَمَنْ سَنَّ شَرًّا فَاسْتُنَّ بِهِ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ وِزْرُهُ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ مَنْ يَتَّبِعُهُ غَيْرَ مُنْتَقِصٍ مِنْ أَوْزَارِهِمْ شَيْئًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Wahb b. Jarir told us, Hisham b. Hassan told us, from Muhammad, from Abu 'Ubaydah b. Hudhayfah, from Hudhayfah, he said: A man asked for charity in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the people held back; then a man gave him something, so the people gave as well. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever initiates a good practice which is then followed, he has its reward and the reward of those who follow him, without any diminishing of their rewards; and whoever initiates an evil practice which is then followed, upon him is its burden and the burden of those who follow him, without any diminishing of their burdens."
