حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُمْ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا آكُلُ بِشِمَالِي وَكُنْتُ امْرَأَةً عَسْرَاءَ فَضَرَبَ يَدِي فَسَقَطَتْ اللُّقْمَةُ فَقَالَ لَا تَأْكُلِي بِشِمَالِكِ وَقَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَكِ يَمِينًا أَوْ قَالَ وَقَدْ أَطْلَقَ اللَّهُ يَمِينَكِ قَالَتْ فَتَحَوَّلَتْ شِمَالِي يَمِينِي فَمَا أَكَلْتُ بِهَا بَعْدُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Isma'il - meaning Ibn Ibrahim - told us, Husayn ibn Dhakwan told us, from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad, from a woman among them, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered upon me while I was eating with my left hand - and I was a left-handed woman - so he struck my hand and the morsel fell. He said, "Do not eat with your left hand; Allah has made a right hand for you" - or he said, "Allah has released your right hand." She said: so my left became my right, and I never ate with it afterward.
