حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ وَأَبِي الدَّهْمَاءِ قَالَا أَتَيْنَا عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ فَقُلْنَا هَلْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا قَالَ نَعَمْ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَدَعَ شَيْئًا لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَّا بَدَّلَكَ اللَّهُ بِهِ مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنْهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' told us: Sulayman ibn al-Mughira told us, from Humayd ibn Hilal, from Abu Qatada and Abu ad-Dahma, who said: We came to a man of the desert-dwellers and said, "Did you hear anything from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" He said, "Yes, I heard him say: You will never give up anything for the sake of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, but Allah will replace it for you with something better than it."
