Waki' told us, from Malik ibn Mighwal, from Abdullah ibn Buraydah, from his father: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, heard a man saying: O Allah, I ask You by virtue of the fact that You are Allah, the One, the Eternal Refuge, who begets not and is not begotten, and to whom none is equal. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: He has indeed asked Allah by His Greatest Name, which, when asked by it, He gives, and when called upon by it, He answers.
