حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي بُرَيْدَةَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ يَقُولُ صَلَّى بِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ فَقَرَأَ فِيهَا اقْتَرَبَتْ السَّاعَةُ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَفْرُغَ فَصَلَّى وَذَهَبَ فَقَالَ لَهُ مُعَاذٌ قَوْلًا شَدِيدًا فَأَتَى الرَّجُلُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاعْتَذَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ أَعْمَلُ فِي نَخْلٍ فَخِفْتُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلِّ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَنَحْوِهَا مِنْ السُّوَرِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Zayd ibn al-Hubab told us: Husayn told me: Abdullah ibn Buraydah told us, who said: I heard my father Buraydah say: Mu'adh ibn Jabal led his companions in the night prayer (Isha) and recited in it Surat al-Qamar (The Hour Has Drawn Near). A man got up before it was finished, prayed on his own, and left. Mu'adh spoke harshly to him for that. The man went to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and apologized to him, saying: I had been working on a palm grove and feared for the water. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Pray with Surat 'By the Sun and its Morning Brightness' and similar surahs.
