حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ سَمِعَ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ شَهِدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ فَتَلَاعَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنْ أَمْسَكْتُهَا فَقَدْ كَذَبْتُ عَلَيْهَا قَالَ فَجَاءَتْ بِهِ لِلَّذِي كَانَ يَكْرَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sufyan told us, from az-Zuhri, who heard Sahl ibn Sa'd say: I witnessed the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in the case of the two who invoked mutual imprecation (li'an); they invoked mutual imprecation in the time of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, while I was fifteen years old. The man said: O Messenger of God, if I keep her I will have lied about her. So she brought forth the child in the manner that he had disliked.
