حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَقَالَ تُبَايِعُونِي عَلَى أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا تَسْرِقُوا وَلَا تَزْنُوا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ قَرَأَ الْآيَةَ الَّتِي أُخِذَتْ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ { إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ } فَمَنْ وَفَّى مِنْكُمْ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَمَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَعُوقِبَ بِهِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَهُ وَمَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَسَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ فَهُوَ إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَ لَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ قَالَ لِي الْهُذَلِيُّ احْفَظْ لِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ وَهُوَ عِنْدَ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ لِي الْهُذَلِيُّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ لَمْ يَرْوِ مِثْلَ هَذَا قَطُّ يَعْنِي الزُّهْرِيَّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sufyan told us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Idris al-Khawlani, from Ubadah ibn al-Samit, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in a gathering, and he said, "Will you pledge allegiance to me that you will not associate anything with Allah, nor steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill your children" - he recited the verse that was required of the women, {When the believing women come to you...}. "Whoever among you fulfills this, his reward is upon Allah; and whoever commits any of that and is punished for it, it is an expiation for him; and whoever commits any of that and Allah, Blessed and Exalted, conceals it for him, then it is up to Allah - if He wills He forgives him, and if He wills He punishes him." Sufyan said: Al-Hudhali said to me, "Preserve this hadith for me, it is with al-Zuhri." Al-Hudhali said to me: Abu Bakr never narrated anything like this - meaning al-Zuhri.
