حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَرَأَ فَثَقُلَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْقِرَاءَةُ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ تَقْرَءُونَ قُلْنَا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لَا تَفْعَلُوا إِلَّا بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا صَلَاةَ إِلَّا بِهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Salama told us, from Ibn Ishaq, from Makhul, from Mahmud ibn al-Rabi', from Ubada ibn al-Samit, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in prayer and recited, and the recitation became difficult for him. When he finished, he said: Are you reciting along with me? We said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: Do not do that, except with the Opening of the Book, for there is no prayer without it.
