حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُنْذِرِ مَوْلَى أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ الْمَخْزُومِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِلِصٍّ فَاعْتَرَفَ وَلَمْ يُوجَدْ مَعَهُ مَتَاعٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أَخَالُكَ سَرَقْتَ قَالَ بَلَى مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اقْطَعُوهُ ثُمَّ جِيئُوا بِهِ قَالَ فَقَطَعُوهُ ثُمَّ جَاءُوا بِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ تُبْ عَلَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from 'Alqamah, from 'Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught us the tashahhud in the prayer as he would teach us a surah from the Quran: "al-Tahiyyatu lillahi wa al-salawatu wa al-tayyibat, al-salamu 'alayka ayyuha al-nabiyyu wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakatuh, al-salamu 'alayna wa 'ala 'ibadi Allahi al-salihin. Ashhadu an la ilaha ill-Allah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh (All greetings, prayers, and good things are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger)."
