حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنِّي لَبِعُقْرِ حَوْضِي أَذُودُ عَنْهُ لِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ أَضْرِبُ بِعَصَايَ حَتَّى يَرْفَضَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَسُئِلَ عَنْ عَرْضِهِ فَقَالَ مِنْ مُقَامِي إِلَى عُمَانَ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ شَرَابِهِ فَقَالَ أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنْ اللَّبَنِ وَأَحْلَى مِنْ الْعَسَلِ يَنْشَعِبُ فِيهِ مِيزَابَانِ يَمُدَّانِهِ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ أَحَدُهُمَا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَالْآخَرُ مِنْ وَرِقٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Ma'dan ibn Abi Talhah, from Thawban, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I will be at the side of my Basin, driving people away from it for the people of Yemen, striking with my staff until it overflows upon them." He was asked about its breadth, and he said: "From where I am standing to 'Uman." And he was asked about its drink, and he said: "Whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Two spouts branch into it, supplying it from Paradise — one of gold and the other of silver."
