حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا مَيْمُونٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَيَلْتَمِسُ مَرْضَاةَ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَزَالُ بِذَلِكَ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِجِبْرِيلَ إِنَّ فُلَانًا عَبْدِي يَلْتَمِسُ أَنْ يُرْضِيَنِي أَلَا وَإِنَّ رَحْمَتِي عَلَيْهِ فَيَقُولُ جِبْرِيلُ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى فُلَانٍ وَيَقُولُهَا حَمَلَةُ الْعَرْشِ وَيَقُولُهَا مَنْ حَوْلَهُمْ حَتَّى يَقُولَهَا أَهْلُ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعِ ثُمَّ تَهْبِطُ لَهُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, Maymun informed us, Muhammad ibn 'Abbad narrated to us, from Thawban, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Indeed a servant continually seeks the pleasure of Allah, and he persists in that, so Allah the Mighty and Majestic says to Jibril: 'Indeed so-and-so, My servant, seeks to please Me. Verily, My mercy is upon him.' Then Jibril says: 'The mercy of Allah be upon so-and-so,' and the bearers of the Throne say it, and those around them say it, until the inhabitants of the seven heavens say it, and then it descends to him on the earth."
