حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الرَّاشِيَ وَالْمُرْتَشِيَ وَالرَّائِشَ يَعْنِي الَّذِي يَمْشِي بَيْنَهُمَا.

al-Aswad ibn 'Amir narrated to us, Abu Bakr, meaning Ibn 'Ayyash, narrated to us, from Layth, from Abu al-Khattab, from Abu Zur'ah, from Thawban, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cursed the one who gives a bribe, the one who takes a bribe, and the one who mediates between them.
