حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ عَنْ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ ذَبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُضْحِيَّةً ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا ثَوْبَانُ أَصْلِحْ لَحْمَ هَذِهِ الشَّاةِ قَالَ فَمَا زِلْتُ أُطْعِمُهُ مِنْهَا حَتَّى قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Mu'awiyah, meaning Ibn Salih, from Abu al-Zahiriyyah, from Jubayr, from Thawban, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) slaughtered a sacrificial animal, then said: "O Thawban, prepare the meat of this sheep." He said: So I kept feeding him from it until he reached Madinah.
