حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَانُ بْنُ رِفَاعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ يَمْشِي فِي شِدَّةِ حَرٍّ انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ نَعْلِهِ فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ بِشِسْعٍ فَوَضَعَهُ فِي نَعْلِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ تَعْلَمُ مَا حَمَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَعْلُ مَا حَمَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Mughira narrated to us: Mu'an ibn Rifa'a narrated to us: Ali ibn Yazid narrated to me, from al-Qasim Abu Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Umama: that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while walking in intense heat, the strap of his sandal broke; a man came to him with a strap and fitted it into his sandal. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you knew what burden you have placed on the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) by this, you would not think so highly of what you have done for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)."
