انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah narrated to us: My father narrated to me: Surayj narrated to us: Hammad, that is Ibn Salamah, narrated to us, from Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Muadh, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'Shall I inform you of the gates of good? Fasting is a shield, charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire, and the standing of the servant in the depth of night.' Then he recited, 'Their sides forsake their beds,' to the end of the verse.
