حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ يَخَامِرَ أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مِنْ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فُوَاقَ نَاقَتِهِ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَمَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الْقَتْلَ مِنْ عِنْدِ نَفْسِهِ صَادِقًا ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ فَلَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ جُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ نُكِبَ نَكْبَةً فَإِنَّهَا تَجِيءُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَغَذِّ مَا كَانَتْ لَوْنُهَا كَالزَّعْفَرَانِ وَرِيحُهَا كَالْمِسْكِ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ جُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَعَلَيْهِ طَابَعُ الشُّهَدَاءِ قَالَ أَبِي و قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ وَرَوْحٌ كَأَغَزِّ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ كَأَغَرِّ وَهَذَا الصَّوَابُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, saying: Sulayman ibn Musa told us, Malik ibn Yakhamir told us, that Mu'adh ibn Jabal told them that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever among the Muslims fights in the way of Allah for even the time it takes a she-camel to be milked, Paradise becomes obligatory for him. And whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom from within himself, then dies or is killed, has the reward of a martyr. And whoever is wounded in the way of Allah, or suffers an affliction, it will come on the Day of Resurrection fresher than ever, its color like saffron and its scent like musk. And whoever is wounded in the way of Allah bears upon him the seal of the martyrs. (My father said: Hajjaj and Rawh said one word for 'fresher'; Abd al-Razzaq said another, and this is correct, if Allah wills.)
