حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْوَرَكَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حُدَيْجٌ أَبُو سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مَطَرِ بْنِ عُكَامِسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يُقَدَّرُ لِأَحَدٍ يَمُوتُ بِأَرْضٍ إِلَّا حُبِّبَتْ إِلَيْهِ وَجُعِلَ لَهُ إِلَيْهَا حَاجَةٌ.

Abdullah told us, Muhammad ibn Ja'far al-Warkani told us, Hudayj Abu Sulayman told us, from Abu Ishaq, from Matar ibn Ukamis, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: It is not decreed for anyone to die in a certain land except that it is made beloved to him, and he is given a need that draws him to it.
