Abu Kamil told us, Ibrahim — that is, Ibn Sa'd — told us, Ibn Shihab told us, from Sa'id b. al-Musayyab, who said: 'Umar passed by Hassan while he was reciting in the mosque, and said: "Enough!" Hassan said to him: "I used to recite when there was one in it who is better than you." He said: So 'Umar left, knowing that he meant the Messenger of Allah.
