حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ النَّخْلِيِّ عَنْ مَوْلًى لِأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَانْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى وَادٍ قَالَ فَجَعَلْتُ أَعْبُرُ النَّاسَ أَوْ أَحْمِلُهُمْ قَالَ فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا كُنْتَ الْيَوْمَ إِلَّا سَفِينَةً أَوْ مَا أَنْتَ إِلَّا سَفِينَةٌ قِيلَ لِشَرِيكٍ هُوَ سَفِينَةُ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aswad b. 'Amir told us, Sharik told us, from 'Imran al-Nakha'i, from a mawla of Umm Salamah, who said: I was with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, on a journey, and we came to a valley. He said: I began ferrying the people across, or carrying them, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: "Today you have been nothing but a ship (Safinah)!" — or "You are nothing but a ship." It was said to Sharik: This is Safinah, the mawla of Umm Salamah, may Allah be pleased with her.
