حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنِّي أَسْجُدُ عَلَى جَبْهَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرْتُ بِذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الرُّوحَ لَا يَلْقَى الرُّوحَ وَأَقْنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ هَكَذَا فَوَضَعَ جَبْهَتَهُ عَلَى جَبْهَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Affan told us, Hammad b. Salamah told us: Abu Ja'far al-Khatmi told me, from 'Umarah b. Khuzaymah b. Thabit, that his father said: "I saw in a dream as if I were prostrating on the forehead of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. So I told the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about it, and he said: 'Indeed spirit does not meet spirit.'" And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, tilted his head thus, and placed his forehead on the forehead of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
