حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ وَأَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ بَيْنِ الْأُمَمِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَكَيْفَ تَعْرِفُ أُمَّتَكَ قَالَ أَعْرِفُهُمْ يُؤْتَوْنَ كُتُبَهُمْ بِأَيْمَانِهِمْ وَأَعْرِفُهُمْ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ وَأَعْرِفُهُمْ بِنُورِهِمْ يَسْعَى بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Qutaybah ibn Sa'id told us: Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr, that he heard from Abu Dharr and Abu al-Darda that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Indeed I recognize my nation on the Day of Resurrection from among the other nations.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, how do you recognize your nation?' He said: 'I recognize them in that they will be given their record-books in their right hands, and I recognize them by their mark on their faces from the traces of prostration, and I recognize them by their light running before them.'
