حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى امْرَأَةً مُجِحًّا عَلَى بَابِ فُسْطَاطٍ أَوْ طَرَفِ فُسْطَاطٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَعَلَّ صَاحِبَهَا يُلِمُّ بِهَا قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ أَلْعَنَهُ لَعْنَةً تَدْخُلُ مَعَهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ كَيْفَ يُوَرِّثُهُ وَهُوَ لَا يَحِلُّ لَهُ وَكَيْفَ يَسْتَخْدِمُهَا وَهُوَ لَا يَحِلُّ لَهُ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ حَدِيثًا يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ أَعْمَالِكُمْ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَمَكِّيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ.

Yahya told us, from Shu'bah, from Yazid ibn Khumayr, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr ibn Nufayr, from his father, from Abu al-Darda, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw a woman, heavily pregnant, at the door of a tent, or the edge of a tent. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Perhaps her companion has relations with her?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'I had resolved to curse him with a curse that would enter his grave with him. How can he make her heir when it is not lawful for him, and how can he employ her when it is not lawful for him?' Affan told us: Wuhayb told us: Musa ibn Uqbah told us: Ziyad ibn Abi Ziyad told me a hadith which he traces back to Abu al-Darda, who traces it back to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: 'Shall I not inform you of the best of your deeds?' and he mentioned the hadith, meaning the hadith of Yahya ibn Sa'id and Makki, from Abdullah ibn Sa'id, from Ziyad ibn Abi Ziyad.
