حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ فَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُطِيلُ الْقِيَامَ وَيُحَرِّكُ شَفَتَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' told us: Kathir ibn Zayd told us, from al-Muttalib ibn Abdullah, from Zayd ibn Thabit, that he was asked about the recitation in the noon and afternoon prayers, and he said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to prolong the standing and move his lips."
