حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَلِيلِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَطِيَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُزَاحِمُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ زَمَنَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالْوَرَقُ يَتَهَافَتُ فَأَخَذَ بِغُصْنَيْنِ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ قَالَ فَجَعَلَ ذَلِكَ الْوَرَقُ يَتَهَافَتُ قَالَ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ قُلْتُ لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ الْمُسْلِمَ لَيُصَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ يُرِيدُ بِهَا وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَتَهَافَتُ عَنْهُ ذُنُوبُهُ كَمَا يَتَهَافَتُ هَذَا الْوَرَقُ عَنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Amir told us: Abd al-Jalil — meaning Ibn Atiyya — told us: Muzahim ibn Mu'awiya al-Dabbi told us, from Abu Dharr, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, went out during winter time while the leaves were falling, and he took hold of two branches of a tree, and the leaves began to fall from it. He said: "O Abu Dharr." I said: "At your service, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Indeed, the Muslim servant prays a prayer seeking thereby the face of Allah, and his sins fall away from him just as these leaves are falling from this tree."
