حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ حُجَيْرَةَ الشَّيْخَ يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ أَبَا ذَرٍّ يَقُولُ نَاجَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةً إِلَى الصُّبْحِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَمِّرْنِي فَقَالَ إِنَّهَا أَمَانَةٌ وَخِزْيٌ وَنَدَامَةٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَّا مَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا وَأَدَّى الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ فِيهَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hasan told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, al-Harith ibn Yazid told us, who said: I heard Ibn Hujayrah the elder say: One who heard Abu Dharr say informed me: I confided privately with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) one night until dawn, and I said: "O Messenger of Allah, appoint me to a position of authority." He said: "It is indeed a trust, and disgrace and regret on the Day of Resurrection, except for one who takes it with its right and fulfills what is due upon him in it."
