حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْأَعْمَشَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ حِمَازٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَزَلْنَا ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ فَتَعَجَّلَتْ رِجَالٌ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَبَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِتْنَا مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ سَأَلَ عَنْهُمْ فَقِيلَ تَعَجَّلُوا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ تَعَجَّلُوا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَالنِّسَاءِ أَمَا إِنَّهُمْ سَيَدَعُونَهَا أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانَتْ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَيْتَ شِعْرِي مَتَى تَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنْ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ جَبَلِ الْوِرَاقِ تُضِيءُ مِنْهَا أَعْنَاقُ الْإِبِلِ بُرُوكًا بِبُصْرَى كَضَوْءِ النَّهَارِ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْبَكْرِيِّ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ حَمَّازٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.

Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us: my father narrated to us: I heard al-A'mash relate, from Amr ibn Murrah, from Abdullah ibn al-Harith, from Habib ibn Himaz, from Abu Dharr, who said: We set out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and camped at Dhu al-Hulayfah. Some men hastened ahead to Medina, while the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stayed the night, and we stayed with him. In the morning he asked about them, and it was said: "They hastened ahead to Medina." He said: "They hastened to Medina, and to the women! They will indeed leave it in its finest state." Then he said: "I wonder when a fire will come forth from Yemen, from the mountain of al-Wiraq, by whose light the necks of camels crouching at Busra will be illuminated as if by the light of day." Mu'awiyah ibn Amr narrated to us: Za'idah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Amr ibn Murrah, from Abdullah ibn al-Harith al-Bakri, from Habib ibn Hammaz, from Abu Dharr, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him -- and he mentioned something similar in meaning.
