حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ الْجَارُودِ بْنِ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ و حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ بْن أَحْمَد حَدَّثَنَاه إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ الْجَارُودِ بْنِ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ فَتَرَكَ آيَةً فَقَالَ أَيُّكُمْ أَخَذَ عَلَيَّ شَيْئًا مِنْ قِرَاءَتِي فَقَالَ أُبَيٌّ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تَرَكْتَ آيَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ أَخَذَهَا عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ هُوَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abd ar-Rahman ibn Mahdi and Abu Salamah al-Khuza'i narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from al-Jarud ibn Abi Sabrah, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b -- al-Khuza'i said in his hadith "Ubayy ibn Ka'b said" -- and Abdullah ibn Ahmad narrated to us: Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj narrated this to us: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from al-Jarud ibn Abi Sabrah, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led the people in prayer and omitted a verse. He said: "Which of you noticed anything in my recitation?" Ubayy said: "I did, O Messenger of Allah; you omitted such-and-such a verse." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I knew that if anyone had noticed it, it would be you."
