حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً وَخَالَفَ رَبَاحٌ رِوَايَةَ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ وَعَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ لِأَنَّهُمَا قَالَا عَنْ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ رَبَاحٌ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُكْرَمٍ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أُبَيٍّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ أَنَّ أُبَيًّا أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي مَنِيعٍ الرُّصَافِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا جَدِّي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَغُوثَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُوقَرِيُّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَغُوثَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فَذَكَرَهُ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ مَرْوَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ و حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَغُوثَ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ هَكَذَا حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ وَقَالَ فِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ وَخَالَفَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ رِوَايَةَ مَنْ رَوَاهُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ لِأَنَّهُ رَوَاهُ عَدَدٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ وَقَالُوا فِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ.

Ibrahim ibn Khalid told us, Rabah told us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri: Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman told me, from Marwan ibn al-Hakam, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, in poetry there is wisdom." And Rabah differed from the narration of Ibn al-Mubarak and Abd al-Razzaq, for they both said "from Urwa," while Rabah said "from Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman." Abdullah told us, Abu Mukram and Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shayba told me, they said: Ibn al-Mubarak told us, from Yunus, from al-Zuhri: Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman informed me, from Marwan, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad, from Ubayy, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the same.
