حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِجُبْنَةٍ قَالَ فَجَعَلَ أَصْحَابُهُ يَضْرِبُونَهَا بِالْعِصِيِّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَعُوا السِّكِّينَ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ وَكُلُوا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
A cheese was brought to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and his companions started hitting it with sticks. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Put the knife to it, mention the name of Allah, and eat.'
